I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in professional photography from the Brooks Institute of Photography.
When I lived in New York, I worked as a photo assistant for Richard Avedon and Irving Penn. On occasion, I assisted for Annie Liebowitz and Patrick Demarchelier.
I've been a guest speaker at the Brooks Institute of Photography, Academy of Art University, and Santa Barbara City College.
